About liveradio.com.ng

One dial for every voice in Nigeria.

We built liveradio.com.ng so anyone with a phone can find a station, press play and keep listening, whatever the network is doing.

Free to listen

No sign-up and nothing to install. Press play.

Light on data

Streams are served direct. No middle layers, no wasted bytes.

Built for phones

Big controls, small pages and lock-screen playback.

How it works

1
Find a station

Search by name, or browse by state, genre and language.

2
Tune in

Press play. Stations stream live from their own servers.

3
Keep browsing

The player stays docked, so the music keeps going while you look around.

How we pick stations

We list a station if three things are true. It broadcasts live audio over the internet, not podcasts and not pre-recorded playlists. The stream works reliably enough that a listener can press play and hear something. And it is a real broadcaster, whether that is a licensed FM or AM station, an online-only station with a real editorial operation, or a community broadcaster with a clear identity.

We do not list stations just because someone paid us. We do not push a station up the featured list because it asked. We do not remove stations because a competitor complained. If a station goes silent, we leave the page up for a couple of weeks in case it comes back, then archive it.

The number on the homepage is the exact number of stations on the site. It changes. New stations get added every week, some go quiet and get pulled. We keep it honest.

What we care about

Fast on any phone

Every page is pre-built and served from a global CDN. It opens quickly, even on a slow connection.

Light on data

Streams come direct from broadcasters, so an hour of radio costs you less.

Stations first

Every station page credits the broadcaster. We do not host their audio. We point to it.

Open to everyone

No account needed to listen. No ads between stations. No paywall.

How we handle your data

You do not need an account to use liveradio.com.ng. There is nothing to sign up for. There is no tracking pixel following you around the web after you leave, and no advertising network selling your attention on.

We do use privacy-respecting analytics: total page views, popular stations, which countries our listeners are in. That is it. If you use the save feature, those stations stay in your own browser, not on our servers.

We do not have a cookie banner because we do not need one.

What we do not do

We do not host or re-stream any station audio. Every stream plays directly from the broadcaster own server.

We do not play automatic ads over a station signal.

We do not change a station logo or description without permission.

We do not rank stations by who pays. The featured list is picked by how complete the station data is, not by money.

Questions we hear a lot

Is liveradio.com.ng free?
Yes. Listening is free and there is nothing to install. No account, no subscription, no app.
How much data does it use?
At 64 kbps an hour of radio uses about 29 MB. At 128 kbps it uses about 58 MB. The stream comes straight from the broadcaster, so this is the same cost you would pay listening on their own site.
How do I add my station?
Send us your stream link from the contact page. We will set up the station page with your logo, description, frequency and city. Listing is free.
Why did my stream stop?
Most stops come from a weak signal on your end or the station going off air. If it keeps happening, tell us and we will check whether the stream URL has changed.
Can I advertise?
Yes. You can sponsor a show, a genre, a state, or the homepage. Write to ads@liveradio.com.ng for rates and audience numbers.
How often do you add new stations?
Every week. Submissions come in from listeners and station owners, and we review each one within a few days. If a station is live and legal, it usually goes up the same week.
What if a station has changed its stream URL?
Tell us and we will update it. Stations change servers more often than you would think, and a dead link is the fastest way to lose a listener.
Do you take down stations on request?
If a station owner wants their listing removed, we remove it. No argument, no questions. Send the request from a station email address and we will take care of it within a day.

Questions? We read every message.
