About Ogo Yoruba Radio

Ogo Yoruba Radio is a Nigerian radio station available online.

Ogo Yoruba Radio is a fully Yoruba-language online station that aims to revive, preserve, and amplify Yoruba culture through sound. Broadcasting globally via internet streaming, it’s a rich archive of Yoruba traditional music, praise poetry (ewi), spiritual teachings, and indigenous gospel content. “Ogo,” meaning “glory,” reflects in the station’s intent to honor the Yoruba identity. Its content is intentionally authentic—often featuring elders, griots, traditional historians, and preachers delivering unfiltered Yoruba wisdom and entertainment. It’s especially popular among diaspora Yoruba families raising children abroad who want to keep the language and culture alive. The music spans from old-school juju and apala to newer gospel-infused sounds.
